I know I sure am! Day 5 was on Friday for the 21 Day Fix, and it has been going great so far!
The workout for Day 5 was Cardio Fix!
This may happen to be one of my favorite workouts of all time! I loved it, and I usually dislike cardio completely! It also so happened to be Flex Friday so I made my accountability picture a two for one! Definitely felt the burn after this one!
My food for the day was pretty good! I would probably rate it at about a 4 out of 5.
This was actually my lunch! I had a 1/2 scoop of chocolate shakeology and 1/2 scoop of strawberry shakeology (1 Red), Water, and a Banana (1 purple)!
Strawberry Shakeology is the newest of shakeology flavors that has been released by Beachbody! I decided to get the combo pack to test it out, which has chocolate, vanilla and strawberry packets in it. They call it the Neo pack, clever right?
I actually really enjoy the taste and texture of the strawberry flavor. I did not like the tropical strawberry texture so I was a little curious as to how the new flavor would stand up. It has a great flavor and when mixed with Almond milk it taste like strawberry milk from when I was a kid only much healthier for you! And when you mix chocolate and strawberry like I did it tastes like chocolate covered strawberries! So GOOD!!
This was actually my breakfast, as I wasn't feeling well I decided to have some Orange Juice (1 yellow) which is allowed in moderation in the Fix! And of course I had a banana (1 purple)! As you can tell by now, I have a lot of bananas. That is because I am anemic and need to increase my iron intake. I would rather do it the natural way than take supplements for it. So I just eat more bananas!
Day 5 was a very busy evening so I actually did not cook anything. But fear not you are still allowed to have pizza! You can have 1/4 of a 12'' cheese pizza. And other types as well! It counts as a yellow and an orange container! I also put Franks Red Hot sauce on my pizza because I love hot and spicy foods, and the hot sauce is a free food! So while I probably could've eaten something slightly healthier, I still followed my plan and went by my containers!
